Home security
As well as offering a self contained security system Insite can take alarm outputs from a security system already installed in a home and deliver the alarms directly to you by SMS and email, bypassing expensivesecurity monitoring services. While doing so, it can also tell you when power is out and the past and present temperature. Homes in cold climates can be left with Insite monitoring temperatures that may cause pipes to freeze. These conditions can come from running out of fuel oil. Insite can monitor your fuel tank levels too.
Construction Sites
Unmanned construction sites are always subject to vandalism and thieves removing expensive copper piping and wiring. Not only do you lose the materials, but also need to repair the damage left by its removal. Insite can monitor a number of strategically positioned WiPAN Passive Infra Red (PIR) Motion sensors, located near entry points.
When anyone walks into the building, these devices will send an alarm wirelessly to a concealed Insite. Insite then sends you the alarm by SMS text, email or both. Once it detects no more activity after 3 minutes, Insite sends an "all clear".
Emergency Power Generator
Insite can monitor power as well as alarm situations on generators. A low fuel level switch can send an alarm when the tank needs refilling, and a sender can deliver a readout of gallons remaining using Insite telemetry. Engine panel alarms can also be monitored by Insite.
Motor Homes and RV's
Insite can monitor many aspects of a motor home, while travelling, left unoccupied or while in storage. Our simple motor home kit will allow a quick hook up to the vehicle's battery that can provide alarms and alerts for intrusion, high or low cabin temperatures, shore power loss and tamper switches on lockers or hatches.
Additional sensors can be added that will monitor smoke alarms, engine alarms, storm wind sensors and flooding alarms. If you need to monitor the temperature inside your refrigerator or freezer, simply purchase our temperature WiPAN sensor that allows you to preset critical high and low temperature alarm setpoints.
If you hide a WiPAN sender on your motorcycle or any removable property stored outside of the vehicle, Insite will alarm you when the motorcycle or property is moved more than a hundred feet or so from the Insite base unit.
Insite's telemetry function will automatically deliver the vehicle's battery voltage as a digital readout to any cellphone.
By connecting the second telemetry channel to a fuel tank or propane tank sender, it can send you an SMS giving the amount of fuel or propane remaining in that tank.
You can optionally use our wind anemometer sensor to give you a local wind speed readout while you are absent. The two power relays provided, enable you to remotely control external circuits like lights, HVAC, refrigeration, or sound a siren. The second relay can be used to disable the engine starting circuit or fuel pump, or start a generator remotely. All by simple commands sent from your cellphone, from anywhere.
With the GPS option, your family and friends can see exactly where you are at any time, and plot your location using Google Map.
